Bryce Across America Tour: New England
Lisa and Bryce outside the Wentworth-by-the-Sea resort in New Castle, NH. Bryce ponders a followup question as his mother informs him that it was here that President Theodore Roosevelt brokered the Treaty of Portsmouth ending the war between Japan and Russia in 1905. (click photo to enlarge)
Bryce's first visit to the Atlantic Ocean in New Hampshire, which is not often thought of as being a coastal state. With only 13 miles of coastline, New Hampshire has the shortest coastline of any state.
Bryce relaxing at the pool on his parent's anniversary. There is no truth to the rumor that Mike employed one of Pop's tricks by sending the young lad out to the pool with money for ice cream while his mother and father rested.
The Nubble Lighthouse in York, Maine. It was first operational in 1879. In case you were wondering, Nathaniel Otterson was the first lighthouse keeper at the Nubble Light
The camera catches Bryce in his first photographed smile as he sports a sweater handed down from his cousin Nick
