Banjo-Picking Second Cousin
We went to Dollywood last Friday and had the pleasure
of seeing our second cousin Roger Helton playing banjo
with the bluegrass band Naomi and the Wood Brothers.
Roger's grandmother was Aunt Nora -- Pop's sister.
Bryce loved the music particularly Rocky Top. He also
liked checking out Roger's banjo; he fortunately didn't
break any strings.

Notable Baltimore Cathedrals
The Lovely Lane United Methodist Church
was established in 1772. The first Methodist
congregation, Lovely Lane UMC is considered
the mother church of Methodism.
Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Its hard to believe that
this place is pushing 16 years. It continues to set the
standard that the newer ball parks are trying to achieve.
A sign greeting Oriole and Red Sox baseball fans at
Old Otterbein United Methodist Church near Camden Yards.
Besides being famous in its disdain for the NY Yankees,
Old Otterbein UMC is considered the mother church of
the United Brethern of Christ which merged with the
Methodist Church in 1968.

Baseball Trip To "Louie Louie"
We had a great time on our baseball trip to "Louie Louie"
as Bryce now calls it . . . it's most certainly a result of that
horrible rendition of "Meet Me In St. Louis" that he has
heard his parents try to sing.
Bryce displays the batting practice ball that an usher
gave him as we arrived at our seats. And I am wearing
a really cool Cardinal windbreaker that I bought with
Mama Nan and Pop's birthday money they sent me.
Thanks Mom and Dad!
