Bryce Across America - Arizona
No trip to Phoenix in the Spring would be complete without
taking in a little Cactus League action. In Tempe, we saw a game
between the LA Angels and the Milwaukee Brewers.
A two hour drive from Phoenix is the red-rocked archaeological
wonders of Sedona.
Bryce has found that he does not attract as
much attention when he wear his sunglasses!
Phoenix Municipal Stadium, spring home of the Oakland A's, who
were hosting the Cubbies this day.
The Windup and The Pitch: Bryce decided
to see how fast he could pitch. The radar
recorded a stellar 14 miles per hour.
Enjoying a meal at the former Bank One Ball Park, now Chase Field,
at the TGI Friday's that overlooks the field. This is not an official
ball park visit, so we will have to come back for a game.
Camelback Ranch, the new home of the LA Dodgers and Chicago
White Sox. I know how they were able to lure the Dodgers from
Viero Beach after so many years. The Dodgers and White Sox
split the 18 field complex. There is one practice field that
replicates the exact dimensions of Dodger Stadium and Comiskey
Park, respectively.
