A Bryce Gilliam First: Friday Night At The Movies

It recently became painfully obvious as
parents that after almost three and
a half years we had not exposed Bryce
to the cultural phenomenon known as the
"picture show". That all changed Friday
night as Bryce and family went to the
"show" at the new movie theater in down-
town Knoxville.

A whole new world. From the moment we
walked into the theater Bryce was mesmerized
by the big screen. A 32-inch screen at home will
never do particularly when witnessing silver
screen classics like . . . .

We're suckers for a love story

We stayed 'til the bitter end. While I
wanted to document Bryce's first trip to
the show for posterity, I did break every
theater rule with multiple eruptions of
flash photography. However, I kept an
ever-vigilant eye out for the flashlight of
one Phillip Scarbrough, who could have
sent us to a hasty exit.
