A Fortnight in Florida
We spent 12 wonderful days in Central
Florida with stays in Eustis and Daytona
Beach along with trips to Typhoon Lagoon
and Titusville area for the shuttle launch
A break from the beach for fun at the
playground in Mount Dora
The lighthouse at Ponce Inlet is
the tallest in Florida at 175 feet
Bryce, Lisa and a few wasp circling above
their heads enjoy the view 263 steps above
the ground atop the lighthouse.
Party Time In Eustis:
Fireworks to celebrate the
Independence Day weekend.
One of the fireworks barges
started sinking so we got an
abbreviated show, but a nice
one nevertheless.
Waiting for the final launch of the space
shuttle Atlantis near Titusville, Fl.
Bryce escorts his mom to a b'day
dinner at Vincent's, one of Pop's
favorite Italian restaurants, in
Mount Dora. The salad was
very good.
