Confessions of an Expectant Father V

The nursery freshly painted in the color aptly named Lime Taffy. Everytime I go in there, I get a hankering for a box from Ole Smokey Candy Kitchen. The T-Shirt draped over the bed is inscribed with "Elvis, Go Ahead And Rock My Cradle". Posted by Picasa

The dining room has turned into a Triage Unit for all things baby. Posted by Picasa

Santas Gone Wild

Holiday Parties are festive, happy occasions. But when Santa drinks on the job and then tries to pull the old "Father Nelson" joke, the result can be catastrophic. Posted by Picasa

Going, Going . . .

Gone, But Not Forgotten.

Looks like the left field corner was the last to go. . . it came tumbling down on 12/7/05.

So long old friend.

Confessions of an Expectant Father IV

Recently reflecting on a time-honored tradition of attending Elvis Candlelight Vigils, I wondered what would be the most appropriate age for Allie to make her first pilgimmage to this august, August occasion.

Having attended EP Candlelight Vigils XV, XX, and XXV (as well as a host of others in between), I'm thinking the 30th Anniversary Vigil in 2007 may be a great time for Allie's coming out party as an Elvis fan.

Below are memories from the 15th Anniversary Candlelight Vigil from 1992 which was well represented by members of the Gilliam family.

Russ, Laura, and Jacqueline join the throngs of who have made the pilgrimmage to Graceland from all parts of the world at the 15th Annual Candlelight Vigil in 1992.

The Gilliam Blog - All the Blog While Its Blog

Not being as proficient as my offspring and my offspring-in-laws in the "Art of Blogging", and not finding the way to add my script to the photo, I must "double blog".

Ralph is in a state of Euphoria on the occassion of the "Annual unveiling of the Christmas dishes". Yes, he is simply Ecstatic and overcomed with Elation, and to put it mildly he is filled with Serendipidy and fast approaching a spritual state of Nirvana. What more could he wish for than maybe a big rib-eye steak on his plate on Christmas Eve.
