Confessions of an Expectant Father IV

Recently reflecting on a time-honored tradition of attending Elvis Candlelight Vigils, I wondered what would be the most appropriate age for Allie to make her first pilgimmage to this august, August occasion.

Having attended EP Candlelight Vigils XV, XX, and XXV (as well as a host of others in between), I'm thinking the 30th Anniversary Vigil in 2007 may be a great time for Allie's coming out party as an Elvis fan.

Below are memories from the 15th Anniversary Candlelight Vigil from 1992 which was well represented by members of the Gilliam family.

Comments:
how bout confessions of an expectant mother...ya know, when you get the letter that is written as though the soon to be newborn is writing to you...that's when you know you gotta get a minivan...

Indeed, there is a certain decorum that must be maintained when accepting baby gifts. You must lift your voice two octaves above the scale for an ooh and an aahh, even if it is just a pink blanket. I have perfected the "it's so cute" exclamation in falsetto. Wayne Newton would be proud . . . Donke Shein.
