Waiting at the Gate
I travel seldom enough that people watching is still fascinating. Always at the gate with enough time to spare so I can put an eye on most everyone who is boarding my flight. So far, this looks like the typical Vegas group!
Anyone aged 50 or under has head down punching on their phone...they are great tools to pass the time.
But I cannot imagine doing this every day like Brother Mike! Ughhh....I am reminded of a trip I took with Gene Gurien to El Paso, which must be over 20 years ago now. We were in Nashville at the gate, and at an empty gate there was a man in full Muslim garb bowed on hands and knees and facing Mecca. And Gene notices and turns to me and says, "scott, if that son of a bitch gets on our plane, I'm getting off!
Maybe not politically correct, but it does make you think!
Ok, happier thoughts... The Plaza on Fremont Street tonight and Caesars for 3 nights tomorrow! May the "odds" be with us!

Good to hear you are doing something worthwhile like 'people watching" (ie. woman watching) instead of keeping your head in your smartphone.
